Early Birds Art Gallery on the seawall in Knokke, it is ‘the place to be’ according to Mark and Francis, father and son, artist and business manager. Francis: “As a gallery, you’re part of a ‘total experience’ here: the sea, catering, fashion, jewellery and art in a relaxed atmosphere.” Mark: “it’s also symbolic, we’re in the place where Guy Pieters built his career. Now we are realising our future here!

We have been seeing it for quite some time now, in all aspects of society: critical messages about overzealous consumption and environmental pollution. Recycling and upcycling have become necessary measures in the battle for a cleaner environment. The art world is also unable to escape this societal shift and we have also noticed this at Early Birds Art Gallery.
